Last month I was contacted by Authors on the Web dot Com about reviewing a picture book for them. I gladly agreed...here is the review if you missed it yesterday. They gave me 2 books to use for a giveaway, so today is your lucky day!

      I LOVE LOVE LOVE soccer! I played for years and I coached my daughter for about 5 years. A great family time activity!

    Dinnertime....we are one of those rare families that sit down at the table eating a meal together talking about our day! It's just so sad to hear of the families that don't eat together or they sit in front of the TV while eating!

      That has always been our family time, but now that my girls are 18 (going to college and having a retail job) and 16 (heavily into dance) we barely have dinner together anymore. I am very sad about that!

    We're a blended family of six children (all boys) ranging in age from 3 to 13 so we were on the lookout for something to suit us all.... Along came geocaching. Love it!

    I love when we all get together on the couch to read a chapter book together. Everyone listens with no television, and we never want to stop reading to go to bed.

      How wonderful! Not sure how old your kids are but the Andrew Lost series is a wonderful science series (great for 2nd and 3rd graders).

    We don't really have family time anymore as my daughter is almost 18 and prefers to do her own thing. . :( When she was smaller we would have pizza and popcorn on Saturday nights while watching Casualty - great!

    Believe it or not...my "our" favorite family time is when we eat dinner! A rule...and it has NEVER been broken...we eat together every night, we share our day, we laugh, we spill things (not on purpose!), we tell jokes...I get to look around the table...every night... and be reminded of how lucky I am. That is my favorite family activity! :-)

      I love family dinners, we used to really good about those but now with an 18 year old in college with a retail job and the other daughter in many nights of dance, family dinner is a rare occasion.

      oops...My favorite family time is playing board games. Since everything is technology now a days...We are trying to show our daughters what fun board games are. They especially love Battleship...

      I love board games, though Battleship was not one I really got into. We had a Mad Magazine game with Alfred E. Newman that my brother and I played all the time...so much fun!

      That is a great idea! My kids aren't actually aloud to have their phones out at all during dinner. It has become the norm, so there are no issues.
