Announcing The Square Cat book Giveaway!

Elizabeth Schoonmaker, author and illustrator, has graciously given me 2 signed copies of her super cute book, Square Cat, for this giveaway.
 I have also created a teaching packet {for sale in either of my stores for $5.50} to giveaway with the book. This way you can dive right in and use this book for teaching those skills and strategies your students still need help with.

Giveaway runs from Saturday, February 9th, 2013 to 
5pm PST Friday,  February 15th, 2013.

    My kids think I'm square because I'm so black and white when it comes to rules. I don't like to bend them or break them or test their boundaries. It is what it is when it comes to rules.

    I did a personality test once that used triangle, circle, square, and squiggle to describe your personality traits. I was a square because I kept list of EVERYTHING to do during the day and then checked it off!

    I think people would say I'm square because it is Saturday evening and I am excited by the chance to win a new book to use in my class. I need to go and get ready - try not to be such a square.

    I guess I'm square because I don't follow the crowd! I dress funky, and I DON'T model art projects for my kiddos in my classroom! Teachers say I'm a "square peg in a round hole!" Ha ha!! =-)

    Square I am. I collect Cabbage Patch Kids. (have over 1,000) My favorite programs are Little House on the Prairie and The Walton's. I read Christian Amish books.

    I am square because:

    I need to be in bed by 10 on a school night, don't like change hehe, my idea of a fun night out is McDonald's & a rented movie, I have a closet full of nice clothes but prefer a hoodie, I still believe in happily ever after, I prefer Chik-fil-A sweet tea to a glass of wine, despite the so-called "cheesy 80's" I LOVE Bon Jovi! Thank you so much for all of the ideas/strategies for the books you write about:).

      Thanks Sara for the kind words. Except for the McDonald's and Sweet Tea (I prefer In-n-Out and a delicious martini) I am right there being square with you on the rest! I just don't know why anyone wouldn't love Bon Jovi!!Thanks for entering the giveaway, it is a great book!!

    I have to state that absolutely no one would say that I am square. I am the original rule-breaker AND instigator of most 'disruptions' on campus. I think I need this book because I need to see life from another perspective. I have trouble understanding how people can live with rules without questioning or sit back and 'take it' when administration/big boys are taking the fun out of education for our kids. Guess this might mean I'm eliminated, but I'm hoping there are more like me out there.
